Katz has the best bagels period. Jeremy is a great guy and makes you feel very comfortable with your buying experience. I would recommend Katz for anything from bagels, to the original pizza bagel. Buy the cream cheese. It makes the full experience.

My family has been eating Katz' bagels for almost 60 years. They make traditional jewish bagels. My faves are the marble rye, sesame seed, onion... well never mind my list... they're all delish. They also have some great specialty things... their pizza bagels and hot dogs in a bagel wrap are amazing. And their 4" half-moon cookies are so good.Katz' Bagel Bakery is NOT a sit down spot... I usually call ahead, then head to the counter to pick up my order. To take advantage of the bagels fresh out of the oven, we often buy little tubs of cream cheeses and lox, then sit in our parked car and there's nothing better!Do yourself a favor and get some real Jewish bagels.

Best bagels I've ever had and their HOMEMADE onion and chive cream cheese is amazing! Everything is always fresh and delicious. Pizza Bagels are one of a kind! Must try if you are in the area!

Fantastic bagels for a great price, however, the man who runs it might be the most rude and impatient man I have ever met. The guy looks at you like you are an intruder from the second you come in and treats you that way throughout the whole experience. It is a shame because the bagels are great. I suspect that if the bagels were not tasty that no one would ever go in there.

The real deal and the only place around to get genuine fresh bagels. A multi generational family business. Unassuming inside and out but the bagels are wonderful.

Pizza bagels are really good. Every now and then you’ll get one light on the cheese and sauce but when they get it right it’s a home run. I do have a question though. Do the Jewish bakers get nervous around the ovens?

These bagels are great! Many choices. Delicious plain and flavored cream cheeses. (Skip the babka - It’s just white bread (should be a little doughy) with a smattering of raisins, a negligible amount of cinnamon, and nothing resembling a sweet crumbly topping.) BUT - the bagels are delicious!

Katz's Bagels. Hands down the best bagels around. I grew up in Chelsea. Most of the old Jewish traditions are long gone but Katz's continues. They make a fresh chewy boiled bagel that simply can't be beat. They are open early and late. They also are k ow for their pizza bagels which is pizza sauce and cheese baked on a bagel base. The best. Their prices are reasonable especially when you compare it with their quality. Well worth the trip for the best bagel in Boston.

You can't get a better bagel outside New York, still run by the Katz family for generations!!!

You can't beat Katz for great bagels. Chewy but not too dense, this is our go to place for awesome bagels. They always have chive cream cheese on hand and don't forget to grab a bagel pizza or three (also the best around). Just a note, this is a grab and go establishment.

This is a no-frills bakery. Although it has a very spartan interior it makes up for with some really great bagel's ! 85 years and still going strong ! I'd say there's a reason for that :-)

One of the best bagel bakeries in the Boston area. It's a tiny shop with lots of customers so figure out what you want while you're in line and be ready when they call on you. They ain't playin'. The advantage of the somewhat brisk service is that the line moves fast and your bagels are still oven fresh when you leave the store. It's a good arrangement. The menu isn't extensive but what we've sampled from it has been very good.

These are the best Bagels this side of Boston and the owners are the coolest dudes I know I went in there today forgot my wallet my man dont worry about it next time I go he said I could pay them wicked awesome thing to do

Quality, old-fashioned bagels made fresh at a great price. This place is no frills but they get the job done. I've been picking up a dozen or so every week or two for the past 5 years and have yet to find a place that comes close.

Amazing! There are very few Jewish bakeries in the Boston area to get a REAL bagel. This is THE place! Katz is the real deal. The bagels and spreads are amazing. Taste like a bagel should taste! Now I need an excuse to go to Chelsea so I can stop at Katz again! A family owned business — there’s no surprise they’ve been around for generations.

I had an everything bagel and a pizza bagel! Cream cheese tasted a bit off to me and the cheese on pizza bagel tasted plasticy instead of melty. But it didnt throw it off completely.
